Who we are

Clear Ear Clinic Limited ("we") is the data controller for the personal information we hold about you. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 05735308, registered office 8 Blandfield Road, London SW12 8BG. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration number Z1812248.

The information we collect

• Your name, contact details and date of birth.
• Health information relevant to your ear care, recorded in your clinical record.
• Payment and insurance details where relevant.
• Correspondence between you and the clinic.

How we use it

We use your information to provide and manage your care, to take and confirm appointments, to take payment, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations as a healthcare provider. We process health data on the basis that it is necessary for the provision of healthcare (UK GDPR Article 9(2)(h)).

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only where necessary: with your GP or other clinicians involved in your care with your knowledge, with your insurer where you are claiming, and with our regulators and professional advisers where required by law.

We also use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract and on our instructions. These include Cliniko, which provides our appointment and clinical records system, our payment provider, Resend, which delivers the messages you send us through our website contact form, and Google, which provides our website analytics and advertising measurement (described under Cookies below).

How long we keep it

We keep clinical records for the periods required by healthcare record-retention guidance, and other records no longer than necessary.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, and in some circumstances to ask us to delete it or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@clearearclinic.com.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies, which make the site work, are always active. With your consent, we also use:

• analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4), to understand how visitors use the site;
• advertising-measurement cookies (Google Ads, deployed through Google Tag Manager), so we can see which adverts lead to enquiries and bookings.

When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. Analytics and advertising cookies are not set until you accept, using Google Consent Mode, and you can change your choice at any time.
